The health and safety of all mock trial participants, coaches, judges, spectators, and volunteers is of paramount concern. The State Bar of Montana is closely monitoring the evolving coronavirus and COVID-19 pandemic including guidance from local, state, and national authorities.
The 2021 National High School Mock trial competition, hosted by the Indiana State Bar, will be held virtually. The Montana State Champion will earn a spot at the National competition.
Due to increasing rates of COVID-19 infection in the state, the 2021 Montana High School Mock Trial Competition will be held virtually. The decision to hold a virtual competition follows consultation with public health officials and other states' mock trial programs.
We are working with the Idaho Law Foundation to combine Idaho and Montana's competitions for preliminary rounds in February 2021. The preliminary rounds will take the place of regional rounds and will be virtual. Please check back for further information.
